Abstract

Rangoli, a traditional form of floor art, plays an integral role in the cultural and social landscape 
of India. Traditionally created during festivals, rituals, and auspicious events, Rangoli transcends 
mere decoration and reflects a deep cultural connection with religion, community, and identity. 
This paper explores the significance of Rangoli in Indian households, analyzing its artistic 
elements, historical context, and social relevance. Through a comprehensive review of literature, 
field observations, and visual analysis, this study highlights how Rangoli serves as a symbol of
