Abstract

contemporary film industry, these posters reflect both the technological advancements in design 
and the changing cultural narratives of Indian cinema. This paper explores the evolution of 
Indian film poster art, tracing its origins, key developments, and the impact of technological 
advancements on design trends. The study examines the transition from hand-painted to digital 
posters, discussing the cultural, technological, and aesthetic shifts that have influenced the visual 
marketing strategies of Indian cinema.
