Dear Scholars, Researchers, and Artists,

The Editorial Board of the Dada Lakhmi Chand Journal of Performing and Visual Arts invites original, unpublished research papers, case studies, critical essays, and book reviews for the upcoming volume.

The journal aims to provide an interdisciplinary platform for robust academic dialogue, celebrating the intersection of traditional heritage and contemporary practices in performing, visual, and cinematic arts.

???? Focus and Scope

We welcome submissions across a broad spectrum of disciplines, including but not limited to:

  • Visual Arts: Painting, Sculpture, Applied Arts, Animation, and Art History.
  • Performing Arts: Theatre, Folk Art Traditions, Music, and Dance.
  • Film & Television: Cinema Studies, Direction, Editing, Sound Design, and New Media.
  • Design: Fashion Design, Interior Design, Product Design, and Visual Communication.
  • Cultural Studies: Folklore (with special reference to Pandit Lakhmi Chand’s legacy), Heritage Conservation, and Aesthetics.

???? Submission Guidelines

  • Originality: All submissions must be original, plagiarism-free, and not under consideration elsewhere.
  • Word Limit:
    • Full Research Papers: 3,000 to 5,000 words.
    • Book/Performance Reviews: 1,500 to 2,000 words.
  • Formatting: Times New Roman, Font size 12, 1.5 line spacing. Please follow the APA 7th Edition style for citations and references.
  • Abstract: Every paper must include an abstract of 150–200 words along with 4–5 keywords.
